Alternate Paper Pumpkin Cards

Let the Sunshine!  Did you happen to get the box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin monthly kit?  If you did, do you follow the directions in the box or do you try to create your own?

We all know that Paper Pumpkin is a kit that you can get as a monthly subscription each month for $22 which includes shipping.  Each kit comes with everything you need to create such lovely cards.  Stampin' Up! created this box of sunshine to allow you to share the sunshine with family and friends since we have all been in quarantine for the last few months.  The bright and bold colors would put a smile on anyone's face.  Don't you agree?

When I opened my kit this month, I decided to create something a bit different with the kit to show you that you do not have to follow the directions.

I used the new Bumble Bee In Color card stock and created my layers with the card base that was in the kit, even for the inside.  So for an additional $8.75 I was able to change up the kit and create something that was my own.  For the inside, I just did a simple layer using the pieces from the kit and embossed and stamped one, again leaving lots of room for a hand written note.

I am really looking forward to next months kit....it is called Summer Nights.  You will be able to Celebrate the magic of summer nights with the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Kit contains enough supplies to create nine postcards and coordinating envelopes, as well as nine die-cut tealight bags.
  • Card size: 4” x 5-1/4” (10.2 x 13.3 cm)
  • Envelope size: 4-1/2” x 5-3/4” (11.4 x 14.6 cm)
Coordinating Colors: Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Costal Cabana, Night of Navy
