It Has Been a Week of Magic

TGIF!  We made it through another week!  I must be honest that it was a fun week creating with the Magic in the Night collection.

Today's card is a bit more subtle.  I just love the papers that come with this collection and this sheet coordinates with the Pretty Peacock.  I also had to throw in a lighter Pool Party blue for contrast.

Did you know that if you use your heat gun on sheer ribbon?  That is exactly what I did here.  You can twist and turn the ribbon as you attach it to the card using glue dots.  When it looks the way you want it, take your heat gun and add heat to the ribbon.  (not too long because it will burn)...as the ribbon begins to heat up it will begin to crinkle and melt, leaving a nice still ribbon on the front of your card.  That is what I did here and added the bow last.

To tie the inside of the card to the front of the card I had to add some more spiders of course!  Those little guys look like they are running up the inside of the card.  I embossed just one end of the insert to leave room for a personal message.

If you happen to miss any of the cards created this week, take a look below.  You can also find a list of the products I have used.

Thank you so much for visiting and have a great weekend!

Here are the cards from the week......
