Stampin' Up! So Much Love - Spread it Around

We have made it to the middle of the week.  Welcome back to my inner sanctum.....my craft room.   I just love to have you stop by to see my latest creation.

Today I am popping in to share another card created with the So Much Love stamp set, which has shown me that there are so many possibilities.  If you haven't seen this stamp set yet, there are 2 flower stamps and a few sentiments.

For this card I used black and gold. Unfortunately, I did grab a stamp set for the back layer of the card that is discontinued.  That was an overlook by me, I must have been in the twilight zone because it is a set from the old catalog that I was in love with and thought that it had been carried over.  But unfortunately, I was wrong and Fanciful Fragrance has been discontinued.  No worries though, there are so many other sets that can be used to create that back layer.

Here is the finished card.  As you can see it actually reflected the maroon phone case in the bottom left hand corner when I snapped the picture.  I really love how this card came out.  No coloring really, except to blend some of the Delicata Gold  ink on the flower after embossing it in gold.

This blending can actually be done in any color, and today instead of picking up my New Water Painter (which is available in the new catalog item #151298).  These water painters come in a pack of 3 each one a different size.

As you can see from this card it was a matter of stamping, embossing and layering.  Even for the inside I kept it simple so that you can add your own message inside.  Just a bit of blending of the gold on the edges of the Whisper White to tie the inside to the outside and the sentiment stamped in memento black.

I hope this inspires you to pick up this stamp set in the STORE

Let's take a look at Monday and Tuesday's cards so you can see that color and card design can change the look of every stamp set.  As you can see I focused on Magenta Madness the past 2 days, very bold and beautiful.  Today's card is also elegant in black and gold.
