Gal Friday is ending the week of showcasing the Daisy Lane stamp set with two cards. As you can see this one is stamped in black memento ink on Whisper White card stock. I will be including the PDF for these cards on my newsletter this week!

When creating cards there is no need to have any fancy paper or use lots of different colors. Sometimes all you need is a bit of card stock, a stamp set, ink and an idea.
As you know, the daisy lane stamp set has 2 matching punches. One large and one medium daisy punch. For this card I did not use any of the punches, the daisy and the stem were stamped and fussy cut. Laying oval dies were used in creating this card, but I could have used my Stampin' Up! trimmer to create rectangles instead of the ovals.
You may notice, if you look at the daisy flower head closely, that I did stamp the flower on the oval layer and stamped a second daisy head and popped it up on top of the first stamped flower. It shows a bit more dimension for the flower. The only color that I added to the card was the stem in Old Olive, it really makes the flower pop.
The insides are the same on both cards leaving lots of room for your message but again it does tie the inside and the outside of the card together. I just love my layers.
Remember there is still time to get those orders in to be entered to win the Daisy Lane stamp set and matching punches. Use the Host/hostess code on the banner below, if you order before the deadline I will also send you the make & takes that I created last night during my LIVE.
