Great Tidings Bundle from Stampin' Up!

Another week down and I am back again with another Christmas card to finish up my Christmas in July. My Christmas stash has a wide variety of cards this year and I think I will have enough to send out this holiday season. Today, let’s take a look at a bundle being released with the Mini Catalog. Release date is Aug. 3rd. Are you getting excited? I am and that is why today I have created with the Great Tidings Bundle. This bundle has a stamp set that included 10 cling stamps. It also has a matching die set called Wise Men Tidings. I see many possibilities with this set.

The sky was blended with Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy and a blending brush. I blended several layers to the front of the card leaving less color on the horizon. For the stars, I watered down our white ink and stippled the dots with a paint brush. Once those dots were dry, I used a gel pen to whiten them up and added lines to give the illusion that the stars are shining.

I stamped and embossed the wise men and water colored them.

Just a quick and easy Christmas card by blending, water coloring and embossing.

COLOR PALETTE

The colors below have the colors used on their garments included.

Of course I did not forget the inside of the card. I just added stamped image into each corner.

    1. Yes I did. I find that when you emboss, coloring with blends takes the shine away from the embossing so I water colored and love the result much more....thank you so much!
