Having You as a Fur Baby was an Honor

Welcome back to Gal Friday Stamping.

I am working on this weeks newsletter and I hope you sign up to get all the updates, news and a free pdf tutorial each and every week.  Sign up here.

Today's PDF is in honor of my dog Magoo.  His given name was Alfred (he was born during an "A" year, it was easier to keep track of the years when our goats were born and we expanded it to all our animals); Magoo was the nickname I gave him after I realized that he was blind.  Then at 6 months, he began having grand-mal seizures, that is why I have mentioned in my FB post that he was a special needs dog and he was so loved.

Today's card is another card that I have created to donate to my vet because it meant so much to me to receive a sympathy card from him.  So I am passing on more cards so that he can send special cards to other customers.  It was created using the "Happy Tails" stamp set and the coordinating punch.

Again, if you would like to receive this free PDF please sign up for my newsletter.

Have a crafty kind of day!

Magoo Left Paw Prints on My Heart....

On June 28th of this year, we said good-bye to our fur baby Magoo.....he was actually born to us during an "A" year.......a system we had used when our goats were born so we could remember the years without looking at our records.

So Magoo was given the name Alfred.....he was the most adorable, little snowball you could ever meet.  Unfortunately, we had to revive him minutes after he was born.....  as he began to grow,  I noticed that there was something just a bit different about him.  He walked like a soldier......stiff front legs that he would kick out in front of him, that is when we discovered he was blind.  That is when I nicknamed him Magoo....(from the cartoon growing up). At 6 months old he began to have Grand Mal seizures.

He was very special in every way......I learned that I could not change the location of any furniture in the house or block any paths, he knew just where to go, where his bowls were and we could not raise our voice or keep the television to loud.  Our household revolved around the happiness of our Magoo....

So why this sort of blog post on a card making blog you may ask.....because it has taken me till today to create a card for our Vet and his staff.......they got me thru having to do the unthinkable, euthanizing my fur baby.  He would have been 10 years old come October.....he almost made it.  He crossed that rainbow bridge but he has forever left paw prints on my heart....

Thank you for taking the time to visit.....it means the world to me.....hug your fur baby today....

In creating this card I have used the....
