Angels of Peace Thursday Night Live

 Hello and welcome back to another Thursday Night Live at Gal Friday Stamping. I would like to show you what I created this past Thursday Night. With the new Mini Holiday Catalog release came lots of amazing stamp sets. So tonight I will be using Angels of Peace live tonight. These angels are just what we need with all that is going on in the world.

All products used and measurements for these two beautiful cards will be posted in my Gal Friday Group tomorrow as a PDF.

Both bold and subtle colors were used on both cards.

Of course I did not forget the inside.

This angel is the other image that is included in the stamp set. Both are so lovely.

This card design was so fun to create. Hope you will join me tonight for my Angels of Peace Live. A new card design, embossing, water coloring and beautiful die cuts.

An Alternative to Gold Foil ~ Live Tonight!

Happy Thursday! Where did this week go? It seems we just spent a Thursday night together. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. After creating a few cards this morning, I finally came up with a few projects for tonight's live. I will be creating cards using an alternative to gold foil. When you have many cards to create, it can get a bit expensive using gold foil. So here is what I did in place of using gold foil. Tonight's projects were inspired by the Paper Pixie and the Songbird Stamper. 

My alternative to gold foil is using the gold leafing. There are many ways to apply the gold leafing and I will show you a couple of ways to use it tonight.

Color Palette

Night of Navy

Let's take a look at tonight's projects.

A quick and easy way to create a gold frame with the gold leafing is going to shown tonight. I also added gold to the layer on the flower on the inside of the card.

The technique used on the first card is also used on the second card with and additional technique using the gold leafing. For the inside I added the designer series paper that will be released with the Mini Catalog.

This little explosion box was inspired by Paper Pixie and is a cute addition to the cards created.

Christmas in July Thursday Night Live

You asked for it, you got it! Tonight, I will be creating Christmas cards. Products being released with the new Mini Catalog is what I will be using. My Christmas in July Thursday Night Live did not start out so well this morning. If you would like to find out more you will have to join us tonight at 7 PM (est). Aren't the new products beautiful? There is new silver foil, gorgeous designer series paper and I am so happy that there is a stamp set to go with the Encircled in Friendship bundle. Another bundle that I was excited to see is the Clouch bundle. Adorable little domes to create shaker cards. There is another set in the catalog that can be used with this set.

Wait till you see the other stamps in this set. If you know anything about me, you know I love snow globes and shaker cards.

I wanted to stick with snow, gray and silver for tonight's creations. Gray is different but with the stamps and dies it is gorgeous.
