Welcome back to Gal Friday Stamping! Today, my hat is off to Stampin' Up! in celebration of the August-December Mini Catalog for 2020.
Each year it seems that SU out does the previous years when it comes to catalog releases and this year is no different.
The products for the upcoming holidays are just so festive and fun. We can celebrate fall, Halloween and our love of hot drinks on a cold night. This week I have decided to celebrate this Mini Catalog with a symbol of the holidays with the Poinsettia Place Suite. This suite will be available in my Stampin' Up! product store on August 4.
Poinsettias are the symbol of Christmas with their pretty blooms in a variety of colors. This is the only way that I am able to enjoy these beautiful plants because of my cats. My crazy felines eat anything green when I bring it into the house and these beauties are poisonous so I will have to enjoy them with each card I create this week.
For my first card, I am going to wish you a Merry Christmas with this adorable hat easel card. It was inspired by S. Calcott. Creating the base of this card was a bit of a challenge at first while I scoured the house to find just the right template for a circle. Once I found that template the rest was easy as I pulled out my Layering circle dies and started to create.
This card will not fit in an envelope, so I am going to create a box before I give this away. It will be shear delight to see the face on the recipient when they receive this card. It can be displayed after the holidays, in fact, all I have to do is switch out the "Merry Christmas" label and it can be changed to a birthday card.
