Let's Combine 2 Stamp Sets

Happy Wednesday!  For today's card I decided to use the Birds & Branches stamp set along with the Free as a Bird Stamp set.  They go perfectly together.

Misty Moonlight has been my go to color this week.  I love the rich color and the calming feel of this color.

I am running a bit late today, seems I have been running late all week but I am running late for a different reason today.  My neighbor, who is 91 years old, needed my help.  I truly believe that she just likes the company at times.  This lady works so hard and can run circles around me, no joke.

So I did get my pictures taken and am ready to share my card.

I have stuck to Whisper White and Misty Moonlight with a touch of Night of Navy card stock.  The Flowers for Every Season dsp is also a favorite and it is perfect for these stamp sets.

My layers consist of whisper white, night of navy, flowers for every season dsp.  The birds are stamped on a layer of whisper white that was blended with misty moonlight and balmy blue.  I die cut the frame using the die from the Bird & Branches die set.  The little bad was stamped with the 2 step stamps with Crumb Cake.  I stamped the background stamp and than stamped the detailed layer with the same color.  Love the look of how the color deepens when it is layered.

Remember, when creating your cards, don't forget the inside.  It is just as important as the outside.
