Birds & Branches from Stampin' Up!

Christmas card created with the Birds & Branches stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Welcome back to Gal Friday Stamping and the weekly showcase using the Birds & Branches stamp bundle by Stampin' Up!©.  Today, the little bird in this set is bringing in the snowy season.

When we create with stamp sets, we are not limited in what we can create.  The possibilities are endless and the ideas can flow from any thought.

Today, I decided to create a winter scene using the Birds & Branches stamp bundle.  Snowflakes, a cool Misty Moonlight card stock and a little stamped red bird.  To add to the theme I also glittered up some of the snowflakes from the So Many Snowflakes dies.

Snowflakes with added glitter die cut using the So Many Snowflakes dies from Stampin' Up!

And just so you know, I am still finding glitter all over the place but I love it!

The little bird is a 2 stamp process.  You can stamp the background stamp or the detailed stamp first, but remember to stamp the lighter color first.  For this sweet bird, I decided to use Real Red and Merry Merlot.  I love cardinals so this little one to me is the perfect little baby cardinal without the sweet crown.

Creating this card was also a wonderful way to use some of my Feels Like Frost 6 x 6 specialty designer series paper.  If you haven't gotten your hands on this paper, when you turn it over the designs on the other side include beautiful silver patterns.

Don't forget the inside of the card. I have added a sentiment and stamped snowflakes using the Snowflake Wishes stamp set from Stampin' Up!

As always, never forget about the inside of the card.  It adds something special and lets the recipient know that they mean so much.

Have a great week everyone and don't forget to follow me using the following links.
