Birds of a feather flock together, that is a saying that I use to hear from my parents growing up. Whether is is true or not, this week the Birds and Branches bundle will be sharing center stage as this weeks weekly showcase.
This Bird and Branch bundle is just perfect for this time of year. I have noticed lately, that as the weather is getting colder the birds are scrambling to make sure they fill those bellies. My bird feeders just do not stay filled now a days.
You will notice, as the week continues, that this Bird & Branches bundle is a perfect match to the Free as a Bird Bird stamp set.
Today's card features Just Jade and Very Vanilla card stock. Classic stamp pads in the colors Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and you guessed it.....Just Jade. To give a bit of texture, I also added some Shimmery White Embossing paste.
You will notice, this stamp set does not contain any sentiments, so you could use the sentiments that are included with the Free as a Bird stamp set or any other sentiment for that matter. For this card I used a sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, while I was using that sentiment I also grabbed the feather and another stamp from that set for the inside. Like I always say, don't forget the inside.
