I am always amazed of the quiet and stillness after a snow fall. The stark, brownish surroundings are all now white with snow.
Today's card is a reflection of those feelings and I used the Still Scenes stamp set with matching Snow Globe dies. I love the Snow Globe dies for a variety of reasons, one reason is that there is also a stamp set called Zoo Globe that coordinates with the dies. Just another way to stretch your products.
The little cabin was stamped on Crumb Cake with the Soft Suede stamp pad and the snow was added with a water painter, whisper white ink and the chalk marker.
To give the card more of a vintage look, I distressed the edges with the Soft Suede.
Don't forget the inside!
The font and sentiments in this stamp set are perfect and there are a variety of ways to use the cabin and snow globe. As you can see below the dies include other elements to add to the scene you would like to create.
