Very Versailles~ Kylie' International Blog Highlights

Hello to all my crafty friends!  I am so very excited to be among some very creative and talented card makers.  This is the first time participating in Kylie Bertucci's Monthly International Blog hop July 2021.

Click here to Vote for my card!

I have created this beautiful card using a few different products.  Quiet Meadow, Very Versailles, Simply Elegant punch.  Theme for Kylie's blog hop is "Thank You."  This means that I am asking you to Vote for my card so I may participate in the Top 10 blog hop.  Click here to vote.

Let's talk a bit about how I created this card.

Card base and layers are Very Vanilla.  The card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and the difference in my layers is 1/8th".
I started with a piece of Very Vanilla 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  Added a 5 3/8 x 4 1/8 layer.  Layer #3 measures 5 1/4 x 4.  I stamped the front of the card with Soft Suede and the text stamp from Very Versailles.  Ran it thru the cut & emboss machine with the Parisian Flourish 3D embossing folder.  Using a blending brush and the Soft Suede stamp pad, I very softly blending color onto the face of the layer catching some of the gorgeous embossing.  Next, I distressed the edges using the same ink and blending brush.  This layer was adhered using glue.
With a few Very Vanilla scraps, I die cut a few sprigs from the Meadow dies, punched a label with the  Elegant tag punch.  I stamped the "thank you" in Soft Suede and also distressed the edges of this label.  I also stamped off the flower head from the Quiet Meadow stamp set onto the label.  It is popped up onto the front of the card.
To add color to the sprigs, I used the following stamp pads: Blushing Bride, Highland Heather, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green with a touch of Soft Suede.
These colors were added by daubing the color, not blending with the daubers.  These were adhered and popped up onto the front of the card and tucking the bottom of the stems behind the label.

I kept the inside very simple so you could add a loving "thank you" message to the inside.

Hoping you like my card and please Vote for me here!
